To become the United States’ most trusted consulting and marketing firm for contractors.
We aim to build a national network of growth where contractors, experts, educators, suppliers, and community partners strengthen the trades together.
About Thryve HQ
Thryve HQ was built from firsthand experience with the realities behind contractor growth—strong work, real ambition, and too many owners carrying strategy, sales, follow-up, and operations alone.
How Thryve HQ began
Thryve HQ began with a simple observation: talented contractors are often expected to become strategists, marketers, sales leaders, systems architects, and customer-success teams while still delivering the work their reputation depends on.
For Karen, that reality was personal. Her father built a painting business through his own skill and determination, without the business infrastructure, guidance, or resources that could have made the path more organized and sustainable. Years later, Karen saw the same patterns across sales, customer service, business development, technology, and contractor businesses: opportunity was present, but the systems surrounding it were often disconnected.
She created Thryve HQ to help residential and commercial contractors build the business behind the growth—connecting leadership, brand, marketing, customer acquisition, CRM, responsible AI, customer success, and Business Development through one coordinated strategy.
We do not begin by selling contractors more leads. We begin by understanding the business receiving them.
Human-led strategy
Karen leads strategy at Thryve HQ and works directly with contractor leadership to clarify growth goals, diagnose the constraint behind them, and decide what should be built next.
The work begins with the business—not a predetermined marketing package. Leadership structure, positioning, customer experience, pipeline, technology, and business development are evaluated together so recommendations do not solve one problem while creating another.
Sage supports the process as an AI growth strategy assistant. She helps organize early context and prepare contractors for a consultation. Sage provides general guidance; Karen remains responsible for the human conversation, strategic fit, and next-step recommendations.
Vision & mission
Thryve HQ is building toward a future where contractors have access to the strategy, systems, relationships, and responsible support needed to grow with confidence.
We aim to build a national network of growth where contractors, experts, educators, suppliers, and community partners strengthen the trades together.
We connect growth leadership, brand and marketing, systems, responsible AI, customer experience, and business development so contractors can build organized, competitive, and enduring companies.
Why Thryve HQ
Thryve HQ sees the whole business before recommending the next tactic.
We identify the real constraint across four connected pillars before defining a roadmap or scope.
Strategy, brand, marketing, systems, AI, lead nurture, and business development work from one plan.
We work with contractor leaders committed to development, accountability, customer quality, integrity, and long-term business health.
As a Latino-owned and small-business-built firm, we believe responsible growth should strengthen families, teams, trades, and communities.
Before Thryve HQ

Karen spent ten years in bilingual sales, customer service, and business development — inside B2B teams at Senko Advanced Components, Urgently Inc., and JL Technologies — closing accounts, resolving high-priority escalations, and building the CRM and outreach systems that kept pipelines moving.
The contractor side came first-hand. As lead strategist and account manager for Shieldroof Roofing Services, she managed follow-up estimates and appointment setting directly with the owner. Helping launch a low-voltage contracting business — and building the systems Thryve HQ partners still use today — took that business to $10,000 in its first months.
Her father was a painter who built his own painting business from nothing. Watching him turn his own hands and creativity into a livelihood is where this started. She has seen, up close, how much of that weight contractors carry alone — and how many never make it past the first year because no one built the infrastructure around them.
As a first-generation Latina, Karen built Thryve HQ to be the system she wishes her own family had.
How we work
These standards shape every assessment, roadmap, and consultation.
We ask for the operating context, goals, current systems, and known constraints before recommending work.
Leadership and infrastructure come before adding pressure through more campaigns, tools, or volume.
Brand, marketing, CRM, automation, AI, and sales support one customer journey and one growth plan.
A consultation is used to determine fit and priorities. It is not a promise of specific revenue or business results.
What you can expect
Supporting the future of the trades
We believe the contractor community grows stronger when strategy, experience, and opportunity are shared. Through the Build Forward Initiative, Thryve HQ selects one emerging contractor each month to receive complimentary support in growth strategy, brand, and marketing foundations.
